Dr. Cappel and the staff are wonderful!! My pup loves going to the vet here! Seriously...he looks forward to it!!! They've been fabulous through the pandemic as well. We're extremely pleased with our experience.

Excellent, friendly and qualified staff! Leonor is such a nice person providing reminders of appointments and Danielle is very knowledgeable and makes our dogs visit a pleasant one! We are very lucky to have our dog go there!

Dr. Gloria Binkowski was a fantastic vet to my elderly cat. I came here for a second opinion because the vet I'd been going to for years had no idea what was going on with her. Dr. Binkowski told me she wanted to book us for a double appointment and do a full blood panel and urinalysis. I was immediately comforted by her thoroughness. We discovered my cat had Cushing's disease as well as diabetes - which was secondary to the Cushing's. I was given recommendations and options for treatment, and she worked with me when I told her I wanted try natural remedies. She even clipped a magazine article on Cushing's to give to me. Together, we were able to get many of her blood values within normal range before long and even reverse some of her symptoms. When Vet at the Barn heard of my cat's passing a while later, I received a card of condolences which was very touching. Thank you Dr. Binkowski for the work that you do. I am truly grateful for the care we received, and it meant a lot to me to know my beloved animal companion was in the best hands.

Danielle treated my Pug, Roxy, with physical therapy to keep her mobility going. Roxy loved Danielle and enjoyed their weekly sessions. Plus, I saw an improvement immediately. Danielle truly cares about your pet, and is always happy to lend a helping hand. The staff is also wonderful, calls to verify appointments ahead of time, and is easy to work with. Highly recommend!

First time happy customer! Very happy with how pleasant, caring and thoughtful each staff member was. From start to finish they made my pup and I feel at ease and I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Capel! If you are more of a holistic approach dog owner, than this is the place to go! They didn’t push unnecessary testing/ vaccines. Also, their pricing was half the price of most veterinary practice’s around! I highly recommend Dr. Capel and her staff at The Vet at the Barn!

The veterinarians really take the time to evaluate every animal. The care directive is tailored to your animal. No one size fits all or quick fixes.The staff is great too. Everyone is compassionate and accommodating. They never rush you out the door. They can be trusted.

Our Vet recommended we take our senior dog to The Vet At The Barn for a consultation to see what alternative treatments that they offer might help his arthritis and muscle weakness. We saw both a very seasoned Veterinarian who reviewed our dog's medical chart, did an examination and recommended a number of supplements we should try. She also agreed that physical therapy, cold laser and possibly acupuncture might be helpful. Next we saw a physical therapist who specializes with dogs and she did extensive range of motion testing that confirmed his joint troubles, muscle loss and weakness. She had a lovely manner with our dog, sat on the floor with him and he was relaxed and calm. She showed us proper massage techniques and scheduled him for water supported treadmill exercise. His appointment is next week so I can't comment on that process. So, the treatment people we met were kind, knowledgeable and thoughtful about our dog. The front office staff were friendly, attentive and clearly love animals. The only negative, and to us this was not a big deal, but the building is showing its age. It has not been well maintained. For us, as long as staff are well trained, their medical equipment state of the art and well maintained, the staff good to our loved one, the condition of the building is of minor importance. Thus far it has been a positive experience and hopefully, hopefully our dog will feel and do better with these interventions.

Very friendly staff. Danielle, the physical therapist, is amazing. She is kind and fun with my dog and she is extremely knowledgeable in aspects beyond therapy.

Danielle does the physical therapy there and she has been amazing with my dog Molly, a 15 year old GSD suffering from mobility issues. We’ve been to 5 sessions and there is definitely improvement in her physical condition. My regular vet commented on it even.
